The graph theory [1], traditionally covered in Discrete Mathematics and Algorithms courses [2, 3], introduces students to the modeling of various types of relations between entities in technical, physical, chemical, biological, and social systems and their complex dynamics. Graph representations are widely used in computer science (analyses of the flow of computation, data communication in networks, complexity code analysis, datamining strategies, etc.); mathematics (geometry, topology); physics, chemistry, and biology (studies of molecular structures; habitation and migration patterns, the spread of diseases, etc.); sociology (social network analysis, prestige measurement); linguistics (syntax, grammar, compositional and lexical semantics), and in other disciplines.
